Love love love this book. I can't wait to read the next one. It is a must read if you like a good love story.
I read this book a while ago and I hope that I correctly answered the questions. I have loved everything written by Krystal Shannan and this book is no exception. She is definitely one of my favorite authors and I look forward to reading each book...plus I will probably go back in a year or two and re-read some of them.
On a dark night trying to get to his family to shift to wolf and run Luke is unprepared for the girl he has always been in love with to run in front of his truck and unable to stop in time hit her. Panicking Luke is terrified he has killed her.
After getting the informed that her parents where killed in a car accident Kara goes to her boyfriends for comfort and finds him in bed with her roommate. Running from the dorm and so miserable Kara doesn't pay attention to her surroundings until it is too late.
Luke saves Kara by tying them together but will she except him and understand why he did it. They take us on an emotional roller coaster that has you cheering for the hero and wanting to kick the exes butt.
I got the second book in the series and will be starting it immediately. Krystal has made a story that I you will want to follow and keep track of the family.
It is an awesome book although I had tears in my eyes quite a bit it was fabulous. Sadness but lots of love and caring.
This book is amazing the characters are Awesome!. You find such sweet Romance,Humor and even some suspense and action. Kara's day has been so messed up!. First she gets a call that her parents have been killed then she catches her boyfriend cheating on her with her room mate. After running away from his place she accidentally runs out into the road right into the path of an on coming truck. Luck is trying to get home before the full moon makes him shift when Kara darts out in front of his truck and he can not stop in time. Luck is devastated when he hits Kara the woman he has been in love with for years. The only way to save her is to bond with her. As soon as he says the magic words Kara ,and himself show up with matching tattooed bracelets on their wrists. How will Luck explain to Kara that they are bonded and she is his mate?. Plus he will have to explain to her what he is!. He knows she will see their matching bond marks. This is an amazing Shifter Romance!. You must read this book you will love it!.
I enjoyed this shifter book. It was a great start to the series. I loved the characters and was impressed with the story. I'm looking forward to the next book! Five glittery stars!
Kara and Luke are college-aged. Both have loving families and lives that seem wonderful. Luke has known Kara was his mate for years, but was unable to make a connection with her during high school. Despite his efforts, Kara chose Vincent and stayed with him even since. Kara's world changes in one night and those tragedies change Luke's as well. No one knows Luke and his family are shifters and Luke must use this to save Kara's life. Too much has changed in Kara's life in one day and adding more to her already heavy burden may be too much for her to handle.

This book began with an emotional high and continued through the entire book. A great read.
