Rescuing Kassie is Book 5 in the Delta Force Heroes. It can be a stand alone but I highly recommend that you read the books in order to get better appreciation for the characters in the series. One of the great things about this series is you get to 'revisit' with the characters from the previous books. They are the best type of 'family' to have, one for all and all for one.

Kassie Anderson contacts Hollywood through a dating website. Through online communication they get to know each other pretty well except for the reason why Kassie contacted him in the first place. It really showed her true character when she told Hollywood her reason soon after they met. I found it interesting how his friends made him see the reality of the situation. They have a way of seeing beyond the visual layer. Poor Kassie she's doing what she has to do to protect her sister.

Kassie is probably the only woman that 'sees' Hollywood beyond his drop dead gorgeous good looks. Throughout this book he never ceases to amaze me what a real gentleman he is. I would seriously want him for myself but I feel that Kassie and Hollywood were/are meant for each other. She needs someone to fight her demons so she can have a life and he needs someone to be his other half in every sense.

I love Kassie's sense of humor. The way she stumps people with her humor is awesome. Annie has some very hilarioius moments in this book too. She's too smart for her own good. I absolutely adore that little girl.

What I like best about Susan Stoker's books is that you can count on hot alpha males, intensity, intrigue, suspense and sizzling hot sex. This book has that in spades with twists of humor.

I also love that this book ended letting us know this series isn't over yet.

I absolutely can NOT get enough of Susan Stoker! Rescuing Kassie is classic with the Damsel In Distress and a hunky Military man that comes to the rescue but I feel like Rescuing Kassie is more special...more sigh-worthy than most books with the whole damsel in distress/hero coming to the rescue routine. This story has enough heart, sweetness, sexiness, suspense, and heart-pumping action to keep me forever coming back for more! Hollywood was EVERYTHING I could of imagined and more! He was super HOT and protective, caring, thoughtful and Kassie was a tough as nails woman who needed someone like Hollywood. And the sparks...my goodness, the sparks between Kassie and Hollywood was a slow building simmer that left breathless, achy, and just had me falling head over heels in LOVE with Hollywood the way he slowed things down and took care of Kassie. Sigh worthy and utterly heart melting!

Susan Stoker writes incredible romantic suspense! I do mean INCREDIBLE! Once you start you find yourself hooked till the very end and when you read Rescuing Kassie, you get a story that is beyond your imaginings and I just fell in love with Miss Stoker's writing like it is the first time I was reading a story by her.

Rescuing Kassie is unforgettable. Amazing. Sweet with protective Delta Force soldiers and a storyline that NEVER gets old. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book!
Susan Stoker is back! *imagine fireworks going off!* One of my very favorite authors has come out with a new book, and it was a pure pleasure to read from start to finish. The only part I didn’t like...The End. Thank goodness I can always just go back to the beginning, because this book is about one of my absolute favorite Delta Force boys, Hollywood. We also learn his real name! Hellooo Graham Caverly!

Our heroine requiring saving this time around is Kassie Anderson, and she meets Graham on a dating site. She really doesn’t know what he looks like because his picture hides his face. They get to know each other after Kassie messages him three times until her unique subject line hooks him. But Kassie doesn’t want to message him in the first place. She’s being forced by her ex-boyfriend and his friend has gone from verbal and physical threats against her to threatening to hurt her 17 year-old sister. It leaves her no choice but to do his bidding.

Hollywood takes her to an Army ball, and despite a rocky start due to some of Kassie’s demons, they have a great time. But Kassie can’t go through with the plan, so she tells Hollywood everything. Needless to say, he doesn’t take it well. But Kassie is in danger, and Hollywood and the guys come to her rescue, but can they keep her safe?

I love Susan Stoker’s books anyway, but this one was just over-the-top wonderful! Hollywood was a bit of a jerk to Kassie at first, but he more than made up for it in true Delta style!
